Some Poco F1 units are reportedly suffering from 'light bleed' issues

Last month, Xiaomi unveiled their new sub-brand Poco and also launched their very first smartphone by the name of Poco F1. It quickly caught everyone's attention after launch as it was the only company to provide Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset in a smartphone starting at Rs. 20,999. The only company to sell a smartphone with a flagship chipset at such a low price. However, Xiaomi had to cut some corners to bring the price of the Poco F1.

According to the report by XDA Developers, several Poco F1 smartphones users are experiencing light bleed issues. The problem is apparently most noticeable at the bottom edge of the screen, which is considerably brighter than the rest of the screen. The report further mentioned that one of the F1 user's return request was refused by Flipkart, but eventually the e-tailer refunded the amount on ground of 'quality issues'.

Till now there hasn't been any response from Xiaomi regarding this issue, it's also uncertain that whether the problem is limited only with some Poco F1 devices or the entire batch here. Either way, Xiaomi's best bet would be to address this issue and come with some solution or counter-measure for this issue as soon as possible.
